I had the pleasure of interviewing Pamela Geller on my radio show two years ago. I had invited her on to talk about Radical Islam, and her book "Stop the Islamization of America". What was to be about a ten minute interview lasted 25 minutes. I found her to be gracious giving me that extra time, and a joy to speak with. I also believe there is no other person in America on this issue that is as more important to this country in being a modern day era of a Paul Revere, or in this case, a Paula Revere.
I have always been amazed by my own Jewish friends who have blinders on and do not see what was once warnings, and are now real time advances in this country by radical Islam and The Muslim Brotherhood, and all while it mainly goes under the radar by our own media empathizers and appeasers.
While Democrats accuse Republicans of a war on women over contraception (falsely), this country and the entire world ignore the real war on women: The treatment of women by Islam. Day after day, story after story of young girls being shot or doused with acid for wanting an education. Stoned for being raped as if they were at fault, honor killings, and the latest of how in Islam it is legal to rape non-Sunni women. Oh, and let's not forget that Obama, our President said "We must respect it" in referring to Islam.
However, what about in our own country? Pamela Geller has sounded the whistle over and over again about this country being taken over from within. From the Muslim Brotherhood declaring all Muslims to enter local politics in all states (mainly NY state when I learned of this), right up to Anjem Choudary, a British Muslim Cleric saying on a ABC news program " The flag of Islam will fly over the White House." Mosques being built in America at alarming rates, as well as in Europe. The largest Mosque ever to be built in Europe was just approved to be built in Ireland, which has few Muslims, but is the fastest growing religion there. England having Sharia law in parts of their country, while radical Islam says it will be all Sharia in less than two decades. Belgium, France, Spain, it is the Crusades all over again.
Each day we hear about Pamela Geller's warnings becoming facts of current history. The response? Nothing. Including our own Jewish communities, much remaining silent. I am reminded of the old famous quote:
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist..
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionists.
When they came for the Jews,
I didn't speak up,
because I wasn't a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no-one left
to speak out.
Also I am reminded of Ronald Reagan's quote " Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free. "
Pamela Geller does not spew hate. Although it may appear as hate to those who are threatened by her revealing truth thus risking a wrench being thrown in to Islams new Crusade. In the Crusades of history, ( http://www.middle-ages.org.uk/the-crusades.htm ) the Muslim's attempted the taking over of real estate by the sword. The Koran (Quran, Qur'an) tells them Islam must rule the world. They failed each time, but a new Crusade is being fought, much of it is silent. No longer is the sword needed. The sword has been replaced by immigration, and entering local politics. Pamela Geller simply is a person trying to pull out the Ostriches head from the sand and showing us all what is happening under our own noses. She is to be respected Mr. President, Not Islam. She is a Hero. Is she saying events that are not true, but just simply being Islamaphobic? Hardly. Each story, each event she speaks of, reports on, all are facts that are in the news other than the ignorant main stream media. News from the Muslim world as reported by Muslims, or events right here in America that go unreported due to perhaps fear? She is not Chicken Little screaming "The sky is falling" when it is not. She is pointing to the sky and saying "Look! It IS falling", and it is.
Yes, Pamela Geller is one of the most important people in America. It is a shame that half this country is too blind, mis-informed, ignorant to see it, and why wouldn't they be? They have no real news telling them the facts. God Bless Pamela Geller.
